Only people who have boats know what it's like to have one. There are endless things you can do on the water - skiing, swimming or simply whiling time away in the serenity. But what happens when boats go out of season? This is where dry boat storage enters the picture. If you have a small boat, of course, you may simply be able to store it at home indoors. For example, you can easily stash your canoe in any corner of your garage during off season. But if you've got a really large and motorized boat, this becomes a bit of a hassle. You have the option of going for wet or dry boat storage marinas, but dry boat storage can be the better one. Let's talk about why. With wet storage, you can take your boat out in an instant but it's only good during months when you're often on the water. In fact, you probably go fot wet storage in season unless you always take your boat back with you when you go home on a trailer. With wet storage, your boat isn't necessarily covered, although you may cover it yourself with a tarp. It should be noted as well that some marinas do offer coverage for wet storage, too. This is optimal if you want to protect your boat from the elements even when you're not using it.
